Three building waves shaped Cammeray, and they each hid something different behind the wall plates.
The pre-1940 stock is what we open most. Federation houses and Californian bungalows sit along the ridge streets in double brick and weatherboard, and a strong renovation market keeps driving full and partial rewires through them.
Then the walk-up flats of the 1960s to 1980s. Then the apartment stock of the 2000s onward, arriving with modern boards and an entirely different job list.
The recurring one is missing RCDs. Older Federation and bungalow homes often have no safety switches at all, and it surfaces at the worst possible moment.

What brands of switches and fittings do you install?
Clipsal and Hager switchgear on the board and the power points, SAL and Beacon Lighting for the fittings. Premium gear, not cheap imports, and each product picks up a 12-month product warranty beyond the manufacturer's own.
Can you install an EV charger at home?
Yes, and the switchboard usually decides how the job goes. We check what your existing supply can carry before quoting, which in a pre-1940 Cammeray house often means the board gets sorted first.
Do you offer emergency electrical work?
Yes, around the clock for anything genuinely dangerous. A licensed sparkie will work through the fault with you over the phone first, because you can often make it safe at the board before we arrive.
